Jason D. Leeds – Vice President - Development and Texas Regional Partner
With more than 15 years of experience specializing in the development and construction of luxury rental communities, Jason Leeds serves as Vice President for Development and Texas Regional Partner at Criterion. In this role, he is responsible for the development and construction process, land sourcing and acquisition, contract negotiation, zoning and permitting for the Texas region.

Before joining Criterion, Jason was founder of Leeds Development Services, a boutique company that built and sold over $15 million of infill, fee-simple town homes in Dallas. Before forming Leeds Development, Jason was an investment officer for Gables Residential, responsible for more than $100 million of urban development and construction in the Dallas region. Prior to joining Gables, he was a vice president with JPI Partners, responsible for over $190 million in development of luxury apartment communities in the Austin, Phoenix and Atlanta markets.

Jason is a member of the State Thomas Design Review Committee and a former board member of the State Thomas TIF Board, the Uptown Public Improvement District, and the Dallas Real Estate Council Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics degree from Texas A&M University and is married with two children.
